Born and raised just north of Philly in Pottstown, Pennsylvania, Jay Harris learned to hold his own in all aspects of the street game. Jay harris made sure he had a flow that differentiated him from other Philly area artists, and that distinctiveness, combined with his ability to get the crowd hyped have enabled him to take the crown in many freestyle Rap competitions, including one that landed him as the opening act for Beanie Segial and Freeway. After relocating to Atlanta 6 years ago, Jay Harris. has been grinding hard to take his career to the next level. He’s performed live at the original Club 112, Club Fuel, the Red Train Café, the Georgia State College auditorium, Club Center Stage, Apache Café, Club Frequency, and many more. He’s also been featured on Atlanta public access television. Jay Harris reach in the industry includes connections with the popular Ruff Child Records and Skillflex Entertainment, where he’s collaborated to build an arsenal of hits yet to be released. As a Hip-Hop artist, he has learned to guide his passion through his originality. Jay Harris style and flow is not anything like what is currently considered mainstream and commercial Hip-Hop. Some say he speaks J-Anglish as he often combines northeast slang with southern dialect. He uses that same uniqueness in his work to produce tracks and write songs for a number of independent artists in the Atlanta, Philly, and Chicago areas. After releasing four albums in 8 years, he’s currently at work on his 5th album with Karos Entertainment. He is set to be heard on a movie soundtrack and working to obtain major roles in motion pictures across the U.S. and overseas.
